To submit your work for review, please submit via the link below.

A successful submission should demonstrate strong motivation, novelty, and creativity in the areas of International Relations (IR), Comparative Politics, or foreign policy. It should present relatively novel ideas that enhance understanding in these fields, supported by existing literature and methodologies (Qualitative and/or Quantitative). Submissions should have a clear theory, arguments, and evidence-based analysis. It is expected that submissions adhere to basic writing conventions, including spelling, grammar, and organization. Finally, while there is no specific page minimum or maximum, the most successful publications generally fall between 7 and 30 pages in length.

1. Papers must be able to fit within the realm of IR (very flexible!) and must be respectfully written. All students at the University of Maryland, College Park are free to submit articles for publication.

2. Papers can be pieces written for a class or for personal use. 

3. All papers should use 12-point Times New Roman with 1-inch page margins

4. You may include a cover page but DO NOT INCLUDE self-identifying information anywhere in the body of your submission.  

5. There are no page number constraints. 

6. There must be a References page at the end of your submission (following APA format). 

7. Any figures, illustrations, tables, or photographs must contain proper copyright permissions.
